At Hale & Hearty they aim to prove that misconception wrong with a range of wheat free and gluten free foods as mouth-wateringly delicious as they are wholesome. Rich in nutrients and packed with goodness, their foods are ideal for anyone looking to adopt a healthy, unprocessed wholegrain diet. All products are free from wheat and gluten and because they love food, they haven’t compromised on flavour or quality.

Hale & Hearty believe food should be delicious and wholesome. That’s why they’ve developed an all natural food brand based on the principles of great nutrition for all the family. Their products are bursting with fantastic ingredients like wholegrains, superfoods and all the vitamins and minerals essential to a daily diet. What’s more, their products are free from additives, flavourings and artificial ingredients.

Hale & Hearty was founded by a husband and wife team, Christian and Catarina. Both love healthy, wholesome food. Christian is a coeliac, which means he has to choose his food with great care. He's always bemoaned the fact that free-from food brands failed to excite his 'gourmet' palate, but it wasn't until the discovery of their daughter's wheat intolerance that they decided to take positive action...

When Catarina began looking for teething biscuits, lunchbox snacks and meal ideas she was shocked to find that most gluten free products contain potato, cornstarch and additives. Ingredients that offer little or no nutrition - especially for a growing child.

Christian identified the opportunity for a 'gourmet' gluten free food brand, whilst Catarina's studies in Nutrition proved inspirational in the kitchen; where she began developing recipes that met both dietary and culinary requirements. Some recipes which are now among their favourite Hale & Hearty products!

So that's their story: Christian is the 'allergic' one with a taste for fine foods, Ilaria is the intolerant daughter and Catarina is the health junkie avoiding wheat. They all love food and are keen to enjoy a healthy, nutritious diet. That's why they do everything possible to ensure that their products are always deliciously wholesome.
